Bulletin Board
The topic of my progress board was my third grade students’ community projects on how they could make their school, community, and world a better place. I used the board to outline the steps they are taking in coming up and completing their ideas: WHAT they were going to do, WHO/WHERE they were helping, and their plans of action as well as resources used. At the end of the project, they will document the success they had in their work.
The materials I used were pictures from the Padlet they used to originally brainstorm ideas, index cards they wrote their solidified ideas on, cards to use as headings and craft paper for the who and where and for the online resources they were using.

Topic: Pronouns, Root Words, and Suffixes
Grade level: 3rd grade high ability
Description: Students use the prefixes, root words, and suffixes provided to build their own words
Materials used: Paper/markers, Ziploc baggies, and push pins
This relates to the standards for the classroom because one skill students should know ishow to use word parts (prefixes, root words, and suffixes) we know to determine themeanings of unknown words.
